Recent MMPR data shows a continued trend of growth in the MMPR, similar to past reports. Patient registration continues to increase, as do shipments across the country.

As of August l 2016 there were 91,178 patients registered with licensed producers under the MMPR, with 62,385 shipments in the same month. It's important to note that a person registering with more than one producer can be counted for each producer. Ontario says the largest number of shipments was in the month of August, at 34,757. Alberta came in a distant second at 12,986, with Nova Scotia in third at 2,860 and New Brunswick in fourth at 2,614.

British Columbia, despite being the third largest province in Canada, with 4.7 million residents, saw only 2,534 in the same period. British Columbia's population is more than 6 times the size of New Brunswick's.

The daily amount prescribed continues in a slight decline, from 2.9 grams a day earlier in the year to 2.6 in July and August. The amount of cannabis oil sold and produced has also increased, as has the amount in storage. In August, LP's sold 810 kg of oil and 1,685 kg of dried cannabis.

That's so freaking awesome that they're starting to do research on cannabis although my big fear is that once they figure out how good it is,
it will no longer be available to the public unless you have big money to pay for it
Anybody else have any concerns that this could possibly happen

Curious how you obtained July and August information when the Health Canada website only shows quarterly information through June 2016?
