In this episode of the Lift Podcast, we speak with Philippe Lucas, Interim Executive Director of the Canadian Medical Cannabis Council, and Trevor Bungay, VP of Veterans Relations at Trauma Healing Centers, about the value of medical cannabis for those suffering from PTSD. Trevor is a veteran who served 17 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as an infantry solider, and completed seven overseas missions. Philippe Lucas is also the VP of Patient Advocacy at Tilray, in Nanaimo, BC.

Lucas and Bungay both discuss the value of medical cannabis for those struggling with PTSD, as well as the recent petition Lucas has initiated, calling on Veterans Affairs Canada to cover the cost of cannabis. While VAC currently covers the cost of dried cannabis flowers, they do not cover the cost of cannabis oil sold through Canada's Licensed Producers.
